Delete your data

You're always in control of your Petlio data. This page explains how to delete your account and the information associated with it, in line with Google Play's data deletion requirements.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
If you can open Petlio on your device:
- Open Petlio → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and cloud data are scheduled for permanent deletion.
You can also remove individual pets, photos and records at any time without deleting your whole account — just delete them from within the app.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us and we'll handle it for you:
Send a message to info@petlio.pet with the subject "Account deletion request", from the email address linked to your Petlio account.
We'll confirm your identity, process the deletion, and email you when it's complete — normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted

What we may keep
After deletion we don't retain your personal pet data. We may keep limited records required for legal, security or accounting reasons (for example, a purchase receipt required by tax law, or anonymized, aggregated diagnostics that can't identify you). Purchase history held by Google Play or Apple is governed by their policies, not ours.
Good to know
- Deletion is permanent and can't be undone — export anything you want to keep first.
- Deleting the app alone removes local data but, if you used cloud sync, your account data remains until you delete the account using one of the options above.
