Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Petlio mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using Petlio, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. Using Petlio

Petlio helps you organize pet care: profiles, health and weight tracking, reminders, photo albums and related features. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. You're responsible for your device, your internet connection and keeping the App updated.

2. Your account

Some features require signing in (for example, cloud sync). You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Your content

Everything you add to Petlio — pet details, photos, notes — remains yours. You grant Petlio only the limited permission needed to store, sync and display that content back to you and, where you choose, to the Match connections you share it with. You're responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to use it.

4. Premium & advertising

Petlio is free to use and supported by ads in the free tier. Premium features are available through a subscription or one-time purchase processed by Google Play or Apple, governed by their terms. As an alternative to paying, you may unlock most premium features by watching an optional rewarded ad. Prices, trials and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play or Apple account settings; refunds follow the relevant store's policy.

5. Petlio Match

Match lets you connect with other pet owners. When you use Match, the profile details you choose to publish become visible to other users. Treat other people respectfully, share only information you're comfortable making visible, and arrange any in-person meetings safely and at your own discretion. We may suspend Match access for behavior that harms other users.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to harm others.
• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, infringing or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
• Misuse Match to harass, deceive or endanger other users.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, the Petlio name and logo, and all related software are owned by Petlio and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or distribute the App beyond ordinary personal use.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered (delivery depends on your device and operating system). Keep your own backups of anything critical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petlio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Petlio and delete your data at any time (see the Data & Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the App.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
